How the hair dryer finder handles choices

The finder sends the answers you submit to this site’s matching endpoint so it can compare them with the reviewed catalogue. The provided browser code keeps submitted answers in session storage for this browser tab so you can return to a model assessment; use its clear-answer control or close the tab to remove that session value.

When you actively choose a registered central buying page, the validated public question IDs and answers are carried in a URL fragment. A fragment is not part of the ordinary HTTP request path, but it remains visible in the browser and to scripts running on that page. The central page shows those choices separately; it does not treat them as proof of compatibility. You can return to the source finder with the same choices.

Finder answers are not sent to Amazon as part of the retailer URL. This site does not use answers to create indexed combination pages. Do not include private or sensitive information in the choices.
