Ownership
Plan for filter care before the first blow-dry
Filter care affects ownership, but cleaning procedures vary. Find the instructions for the exact model before using water, a brush or compressed air on any part of the intake.
Check the interval and warning signals
A manual may recommend a monthly check, a warning light, or both. Record the instruction from that model’s guide; do not assume another generation uses the same interval. Hair, dust and product residue can collect near the air inlet.
Make the appliance safe to handle
Follow the manual’s sequence, including unplugging the dryer and letting it cool before cleaning if those steps are specified. Confirm whether a cage twists off, whether the mesh can be wet, and what kind of cloth or brush is allowed. Some guides warn against water on the mesh or excessive pressure.
Account for the routine
Consider whether the filter is reachable, how often you expect to inspect it, and whether the machine’s care instructions fit your habits. A maintenance alert is not proof that no other care is needed. Save the official guide with the appliance and follow its current wording.
The Supersonic Nural assessment records the model-specific filter instructions from its US guide; that procedure is not a universal hair-dryer cleaning recipe.
